Executive Chairman
For more than 25 years, Tim has been creating digital communications and embedded software for the aerospace and defense industries. In 1998, he founded Performance with the intent of setting the standard for on-time, on-budget performance and true partnership in engineering services, and the company has been helping clients find a better way to program success ever since. In 2014, Tim transitioned to the position of Chairman of the Performance brand.

Darren is an experienced engineer, entrepreneur, innovator and leader with more than 20 years in developing leading-edge communications technologies for the government and commercial markets. He is a proven Subject Matter Expert (SME) in secure mobile communications with multiple patents in advanced telecommunications technologies and cryptographic applications. Darren strives to share his knowledge and experience through various publications, speaking engagements, and creating businesses to solve the industry’s pressing challenges. He is passionate about building partnerships and working collaboratively with his customers to produce reliable, high-quality results.
Mike Johnson | Head of Products
Head of Products
A results-driven leader with over 15 years of experience in the aerospace industry, Mike has provided technical, program and product leadership on small-to large-scale development and test avionics programs across various aircrafts. Mike is currently responsible for overseeing the growth of Performance’s suite of products. He is excited to be a part of a small company with high growth aspirations and a focus on providing the highest value to customers where he could be an integral part of a team defining new technologies and products.
